The Mock Trial Program

Discovering Justice's Mock Trial Program is an after-school program for middle school students that aims to help students explore the justice system, learn about constitutional law, and practice skills needed to present a trial case.  Working with local legal mentors, students will participate in nine weeks of 90-minute sessions to prepare for a final Mock Trial event.  This year's case is about The Fourth Amendment's search and seizure laws and the legal precedent set by New Jersey v. T.L.O.
