As 2022's Mock Trial Program takes place throughout Massachusetts, we want to showcase the wonderful work taking place and keep you updated with the latest news. We will be posting content throughout the semester on our 'blog' page, in order to highlight volunteers, students, and events.
- Discovering Justice Team
Entering the 21st season of Discovering Justice's Mock Trial Program, there is a record number of 30 teams in 13 cities. The Mock Trial Program connects middle school students with legal mentors to examine the workings of the justice system, explore the ideals of justice, and develop key civic skills such as perspective taking, critical thinking, and public speaking.

Legal mentors play a crucial role in Discovering Justice’s Mock Trial and Mock Appeal programs. Guiding students as they delve into concepts of justice and democracy, legal mentors help middle school students connect with professionals in the legal field, volunteering their time to work with teams of students as they prepare and litigate cases.
